Operations personnel have overall responsibility for the execution of nuclear non-proliferation, defense programs, and environmental remediation mission activities, as well as the management and coordination of multi-functional areas. This includes Radiological, Maintenance, Engineering, Nuclear Criticality, Quality Assurance, Nuclear Material Control & Accountability, and Weapons Production activities. Operations personnel oversee the safe and efficient functioning of plant systems, equipment, and machinery in a nuclear setting. They monitor operational parameters, conduct routine inspections, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. They may respond to alarms, troubleshoot various issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain operational stability. Maintain good working knowledge of the Material Management System, Field Material Tracking Systems (FMTS). Obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license, site forklift and appropriate Raymond equipment operator's license therefore demonstrating the operating capability of equipment as required. Perform visual and operational equipment inspections and document on appropriate checklists daily. Complete job-related administrative forms daily or as required. Work in a safe manner, notifying supervision of any unsafe conditions/acts or damage to government/company equipment and property. Responsible for effective implementation of the QA programs within the limits of job assignment. Maintain good housekeeping within assigned work areas and as directed. Work in a manner to strive toward self-management and promote group management among co-workers. Work in a labor capacity when dictated by job requirements or supervision. Verify the material, quantity, and description on the appropriate paperwork matches the material prepared for delivery. Become familiar with and work in accordance with sites mail service, and Asset Management safety procedures at all times. All other duties assigned by supervision. - High school diploma, GED, or other equivalent State Credential
- Candidates must have completed ACT WorkKeys Skills assessment and achieved minimum scores of 2 in Workplace Observation, 3 in Graphic Literacy, 3 in Applied Math and 4 Workplace Documents.
- Test scores must within the last five years. Official documentation must be provided to the company for considerations of employment. Results must be uploaded into BrassRing on the ATTACHMENTS page at the time the application is submitted online.
