Position Description
| Advertised Job Summary | Located at the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, the Family and Small Business Program (“FSB”) promotes the development and resilience of family and small businesses. The program has three areas of emphasis: (1) building bridges with local service organizations, government agencies, and legal professionals to support family and small businesses; (2) creating specialized coursework and hands-on experiences for law students; and (3) establishing family business law as a distinctive area of academic inquiry that integrates corporate law, family law, and trusts and estates. The fellowship focuses on supporting South Carolina small and family owned businesses. The fellow will investigate issues of concern to the business community and assist individual business owners needing help by connecting them with appropriate resources. |
